Timothy Williams LLM
Trainee Solicitor- Agricultural Department
Tim was born and raised on his family farm in the Cotswolds, where his family operate a mixed farm. They are committed to regenerative practices, reintroducing cattle and sheep to their predominantly arable enterprise and expanding into commercial units and glamping.
In 2014, Tim graduated from the Royal Agricultural University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He then pursued his legal studies in Bristol, obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Law and later earning a Master of Law (LLM) with Distinction.
Tim’s dedication to his community is evident from his tenure as one of the youngest district councillors in the country, representing over 2,300 residents in rural areas. His role involved handling planning matters, adopting environmental policies, scrutinising public infrastructure installations, and appealing local authority planning decisions on behalf of residents.
Before joining Frank Smith & Co Solicitors, Tim worked in financial services, supporting Chief Operating Officers and Chief Control Officers from the world’s largest investment banks and asset managers.
Tim’s deep-rooted knowledge and ongoing passion for agriculture make him a valuable asset to our agricultural and estate department and its clients. He believes that his background enables him to effectively represent their interests, bringing a unique perspective and comprehensive understanding to the firm’s Agricultural Department.
